Sometimes Mapquest my show slightly different directions.  The easiest way from Harrison, AR or Springfield, MO are listed below

Directions North from Harrison, AR Directions South from Springfield, MO
 
  1. Take 65 north through Branson
  2. Drive north approximately 3 - 5 miles to Ozark Mountain Highroad and F Highway  (exit 16).
  3. Turn right onto F Highway Eastbound.
  4. You will drive through the Village of Bull Creek. Stay on F approximately 4 miles to 160/176. Turn right (yield) going eastbound.
  5. About 200 yards, 176 East will fork off to the right. Go right on 176. Sign will say Rockaway Beach 3 miles.
  6. You will drive through the town of Merriam Woods. Next will be the junction of EE. There will be a Country Market on the left and a Video Store further up on the right. Turn Right on 176 East at the Video Store. EE is straight ahead off of 176 East. There is a Rockaway Welcome sign on corner. Can’t miss it.
  7. If you made it this far, you will now be in Rockaway Beach! Congratulations, it wasn’t that hard was it?
  8. Continue straight up to the top of the hill. 176 will make a sharp left. Continue for approximately 100 yards. 176 turns to the right. GO STRAIGHT ON  LAKE STREET. There will be a sign for the Rockaway Beach Chamber of Commerce on the left. Continue straight on Lake street to the 2nd stop sign. This is the corner of Lake and Wildflower. You should now be looking at us across the street. We’re the white kabin with the wheelbarrow on the rock. Turn right here and our entrance is on the left.

  1. Pick up 65 south off of I-44
  2. Drive south approximately 35 miles toward Branson.
  3. When you enter Taney County you will pick up 160 East. Signs will say Lake Taneycomo, Bull Shoals Lake Forsyth and Reeds Spring. Exit on 160 and take
    a left to Forsyth going East on 160 This is a windy road through the hills. Do not panic as you will seem to drive forever. After a few miles east this will merge into 176 East.
  4. Stay on 160/176 East. You will go through Walnut Shade and then cross F Highway. Right after you cross F Highway, about 200 yards, 176 East will fork off to the right. Go right on 176. Sign will say Rockaway Beach 3 miles.
  5. You will drive through the town of Merriam Woods. Next will be the junction of EE. There will be a Country Market on the left and a Video Store further up on the right. Turn Right on 176 East at the Video Store. EE is straight ahead. There is a Welcome Rockaway Beach sign on corner. Can’t miss it.
  6. If you made it this far, you will now be in Rockaway Beach! Congratulations, it wasn’t that hard was it?
